Conservation Volunteers Network

Interested in volunteer work in the Middle East?

Here is your chance to:

* Get involved in nature conservation, environmental work and eco tourism, working together with and for the benefit of local communities.

* Help out where help is needed and get an experience along the way.

* Do your share for a sustainable future and a better understanding between people and cultures.

Conservation Volunteers Network

is an initiative to connect interested visiting volunteers with activities like field research, bird watching, eco tourism, environmental campaigns and community development. Local nature conservation organizations will host and co-ordinate and the volunteer will cover his/her costs privately or through funding.

The volunteer concept is well known from other regions of the world – the Middle East has just so far been a white spot on that map. Let us change that.

We have willing host Partners throughout the region such as  *Society for Protection of Nature in Lebanon      *Aras Bird Research Station in Turkey      * Nature Friends in Azerbaijan        *Batumi Raptor Count in Georgia    *Royal Society for the Conservation of Nature in Jordan        *Nature Iraq in Iraqi Kurdistan

Be a part of a region in change.

The Middle East; environmental issues; international youth cooperation – the timing for intertwining these have never been better.
