Azerbaijan could be labelled as one of the most exciting and still little-visited birding countries in the Western Palearctic. With its location in the far southeast corner of the region (yet still very accessible), a diversity of habitats acknowledged by UNESCO and pristine birding grounds visited by very few birders it is just waiting for the hordes! So go before them.
